The neighborhood boasts The New Theatre or Nagymező utca, known as Budapest's Broadway, and many houses where prominent Hungarian personalities such as Ferenz Liszt and Zoltán Kodály lived or worked. At one end of the boulevard you'll find the city's most important religious buildings and across the river the old castle district with its landmark Buda Castle, while at the other end you'll find the aforementioned opera house and a number of museums.
