Senica, SlovakiaWhether you're coming from Vienna, Bratislava, or Brno, the private Penati Golf Resort can be reached within an hour to an hour and a half by car. The Šajdíkove Humence helipad and the non-public Senica airport for private flights are also available directly in the village. Of course, you can use the train, which stops less than three kilometers from the penthouse, for romantic trips around the area.

The region suitable for endless walks and cycling is characterized by dozens of churches, castles, and chateaus. Among them, we can recommend the Basilica of the Virgin Mary of the Seven Sorrows in Šaštín. There are also the ruins of Plavec Castle and Branč Castle from the 13th century. Near the Czech-Slovak border, the extensive Royal Stud Farm in Kopčany is still in operation.
There are two golf courses, including the longest hole in Europe. Both have 18 holes and both are the best not only in Slovakia but according to the international independent platform Top 100 Golf Courses, they belong to the TOP level in Europe. Besides golf, the region is also famous for the "Slovak desert". The windswept sands and large dunes in the Borska Lowland host two large military equipment shows – Sahara and Slovenské piesky.
